    The Chairman of the Chamber, Abdul-Hakim bin Hamad Al-Ammar Al-Khaldi, praised the generous order, extending a number of initiatives that the government had launched to mitigate the effects of the Corona pandemic on individuals and owners of enterprises from the private sector, and focused on (supporting Saudi workers, stopping fines, and postponing the collection of Fees, Exemptions, and Representations.​

    Al-Khaldi said, (Extending the initiatives an additional period gives the business the opportunity to achieve maximum benefit from it, while at the same time it shows the keenness of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to mitigate the financial and economic impacts of the repercussions of the pandemic. The citizens and the owners of the establishments, (which increases our confidence that our angel always stands beside us and supports us in these circumstances that the whole world is going through)​.

    Al-Khaldi said that the extension decision supports and supports the private sector in this period, which is the recovery period, and confirms the extent of the concern of the matter in the private sector and the strengthening of its role as a partner in development, noting that this extension is a generous gesture from the shrine of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, as it reduces what is left behind The ban has implications for many enterprises, and enables the entire private sector to return to accelerated growth rates.

    Al-Khaldi pointed out that the support initiatives launched by the state, whether by exempting or postponing some government dues, had clear positive effects on the continuity of the establishments ’work in performing their work, which reflected positively on the economic situation, and gave a perception of the extent of coherence and solidity of our national economy.

    Since the beginning of the fallout from the Corona pandemic, the state has announced a package of initiatives to support the private sector, especially small and medium-sized enterprises, and economic activities most affected by the consequences of the Coronavirus, and reached 142 initiatives targeting individuals, private sector enterprises and investors, exceeding 214 billion riyals.
